Privacy Policy

This privacy policy (this “Policy”) describes how personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by EZ Ops Inc. (“our” or “us” or “we”). This Policy applies to visitors and users (individually “you” or “user”) of our websites, applications, and online services (collectively the “Sites”). By using our Sites, you represent and warrant that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy.

We collect and use the following information on our Sites:

1. Information you Provide

We may, from time to time, collect information that you provide to us, some of which may be personal information. The purpose for which we collect your information is for us to improve the content of our Sites, customize the content and/or layout of our Sites for each user, identify ways to improve efficiencies through data analysis, to pre-populate fields in our EZ Ops software, and if you consent, to contact you for marketing purposes. Also, we collect your information to allow you to create, use and maintain an account on our Sites, and allow authorized users to use and access the EZ Ops software available on the Site. The information that we collect from you includes the following: first and last name, occupation, images of software end users, location of software end users, GPS location data (“User Information”). Optional information that we may collect from you at your discretion includes the following: Name, Company, Phone, Email, Message (“Optional Information”). We will use your User Information and Optional Information only for the purposes described above. We will not disclose this content to any third party unless (a) legally required to do so at the request of a government authority; (b) to protect any person from death or serious bodily injury; (c) to prevent fraud or the abuse of our users; or (d) to protect our rights.

2. Technical Information

When you visit our Sites, we may collect, using electronic means, technical information. This information may include the IP address of your computer and which browser you used to view our Sites, operating system, resolution of screen, language settings in browsers, the site you came from and searched for keywords (if arriving from a search engine). This technical data is also aggregated and used to measure and improve the effectiveness of our Sites. We do not attempt to combine this technical data with other personal information we collect on our Sites.

3. Cookies

We may use cookies to record your session information, record specific information on what pages you access or visit, record past activity at the Sites in order to provide better service when you return to the Sites, ensure that you are not repeatedly sent the same banner ads, customize Web Page content based on your browser type or other information that you send. You can block the use of cookies by activating the settings in your browser but if you choose to withhold consent, or subsequently block cookies, you may not be able to access all or part of the content of our Sites.

4. Children

Our Sites are not directed toward children or persons under the age of 18 nor do we knowingly collect information from children or persons under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please do not submit any personally identifiable information to the Site. If you learn that your child has provided us with their information without your consent and he or she is under the age of 18, please let us know by contacting our Privacy Officer as noted below, so that we can remove it from our systems.

5. Retention of Information

We will retain your personal information on our cloud servers, or cloud servers hosted by a third party, for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we’ll also delete this information. But please note: (1) there might be some delay in deleting this information from our servers and back-up storage, and (2) we may retain this information if necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

6. Links to other Web Sites

Our Sites may contain links to other websites. We provide these links as a service and we do not necessarily support or endorse the information. We are not responsible for the content and privacy policies of other websites. Information that you disclose to a third party during the course of accessing our Sites will be subject to the privacy policy of that third party. We encourage you to examine each website’s privacy policy and disclaimers and make your own decisions regarding the accuracy, reliability and correctness of material and information found there.

7. Marketing Activities

If you do not want to receive marketing email from us in the future, please let us know by contacting our Privacy Officer as noted below or use the unsubscribe link in any email we may have sent you to opt out of such communication. Please note, if you opt out of receiving marketing emails from us, you may still receive “Transactional” email messages regarding your account status.

8. International Users

Like almost every website, our Sites may be accessed by an international audience. By visiting our Sites and providing us with data, you acknowledge and agree that your personal information may be processed for the purposes identified in this policy. In addition, such data may be stored on servers located outside your resident jurisdiction and in jurisdictions which may have less stringent privacy practices than your own. By providing us with your data, you consent to the transfer of such data. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your personal information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and Canadian law.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

From time to time, we may use user information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in this Privacy Policy. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the changes to this Privacy Policy on our Sites to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.

Users may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by contacting our Privacy Officer as noted below.

11. Access and Correction

Upon request, we will provide users with access to the information that we have collected and maintained about them. Further, we offer users the ability to correct any inaccuracies in their information. Users can request their personal information or request changes to their personal information by contacting our Privacy Officer as noted below.

12. Security of Personal Information

The security of your personal information is important to us. We will use reasonable security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. We take technical, contractual, administrative, and physical security steps to protect personal information that we have collected from you at our Sites.
